The teaching profession has an important role to play in university exchange programmes. In fact, agreements and conventions only come into effect when a teacher has assessed the suitability and feasibility of an exchange programme. Thus, the teacher can intervene on many occasions.
If you are a teacher who wishes to develop or modify your co-operation with a European university within the framework of the Erasmus programme, you must fill out a bilateral agreement concerning either student mobility or teaching staff exchanges. In certain cases, the International Relations Office can finance and organise your stay as part of the “mobility organisation” programme.
Exchanges can be organised between two institutions. These are bilateral agreements (or conventions), which set out the purpose and conditions of partnerships. Within that framework, the International Relations Office can further the mobility of teaching staff, once organisation and budgetary preparations have been carried out by the home institution.
Following the Erasmus agreements concluded by the University, the European Union will finance your teaching experience abroad for a certain period. Transport fees are borne by the International Relations Office, and expenses by a European Union weekly allowance for the mobility of teaching staff.
The only requirement is to fill out your teacher contract and to send it to the International Relations Office, together with the particulars of your bank account.
When you return home, send your full report together with the teaching certificate from the host university.
